Management Team
Kulvinder Singh Bajaj
Managing Director
Kulvinder has a wealth of experience in goods and commodities trading and real estate investment and development, having managed operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Myanmar, India, Australia, Japan, Thailand and Africa.
​
Most notably, Kulvinder established Prima Fabrics in 2004, which became the preferred linen supplier to Accor Hotels, Rydges and The Hilton in Australia.
​
At Baksh, Kulvinder is focused on growing the real estate portfolio and is responsible for approving investments by his family office.
​
Kulvinder is proficient in both English and Punjabi and completed his studies at Raffles Institution, Singapore.
Birbal Singh Bajaj
Managing Director
Birbal manages his family’s global investments through Baksh Capital and is focused on growing the portfolio without compromising on the values established by the earlier generations.
​
At Baksh, Birbal advises the team on existing strategies, identifying new strategies and developing relationships with strategic partners.
​
Birbal is also an Advisor and Co-Founder at Prima Asset Management where he focuses on real estate investment opportunities and strategic planning in United Kingdom, Australia and South East Asia.
He studied a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of New South Wales. Birbal also recently completed his diploma in Sustainable Business Practices from Harvard Business School.
Ben Hall
General Manager
Ben is an internationally qualified investment professional with over 15 years’ experience sourcing, structuring and executing investments in Asia, The Americas, Europe and The Middle East.

Ben has represented investors, developers and operators across equity and debt investments with transaction values up to US$500m. Most recently, Ben was the Head of Investment for a private equity real estate firm, Q Investment Partners and previously held roles with Nord Anglia Education and Deloitte Real Estate.
​
At Baksh, Ben is responsible for the family’s global real estate investments and works closely with our partners and advisors to create unique and exclusive investment opportunities.
​
Ben is a RICS Chartered Surveyor and holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Applied Finance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Property Economics from Queensland University of Technology.
Jiwan Singh
Head of Operations
Jiwan has over 16 years of experience in the real estate industry across Malaysia and Australia, this positions him uniquely in understanding the intricacies and differences in applying investment strategies and evaluation plans that are unique.

Before joining Baksh Capital, Jiwan was involved in various independent real estate projects across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland mainly focusing in land subdivision and project planning consultancy with transactional values up to AUD$300m.
At Baksh, he heads the operations with responsibility in preparation of investment strategies, evaluation of current resources and advising alterations in investment plans encompassing projects and opportunities in real estate, blockchain/cryptocurrencies & investment funds.
Jiwan holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Commerce with a Major in Property from the Western Sydney University of New South Wales School of Business.

Dr Jerry Schwartz
A practising surgeon and hospitality mogul, Dr Jerry Schwartz is the largest private owner of hotels in Australia. He owns over 15 properties including Sofitel Darling Harbour, Rydges World Square, Mercure Hotel Sydney and Hilton Surfers Paradise. The Schwartz Family Company also owns Sydney Brewery and Blue Sky Airlines and employs more than 2200 people.
An Rui Ang
Head of Digital & Private Investments
An Rui commenced his career at a Singapore-based private equity real estate firm, Q Investment Partners, where he executed real estate transactions in excess of US$150m throughout the UK and USA.

At Baksh, An Rui is responsible for private investments in venture capital as well as investments in blockchain/digital assets.
​
An Rui is proficient in both English and Mandarin having spent time in Shanghai earlier in his career and holds Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
Craig Hewett
A serial entrepreneur and active investor, Craig Hewett has over 20 years of experience in building start-ups across Asia, Australia and the Middle East. In 2005 he co-founded Wego.com, a leading online travel marketplace focused on Asia and the Middle East, serving over 20 million customers per month. Wego has since attracted growth capital from renowned venture capital firms like Square Peg Capital, Tiger Global & Crescent Point.

As part of Wego, he recently launched ShopCash, an online cashback and deal discovery app. Participating merchants with ShopCash include Amazon, AliExpress, iHerb, H&M, Mothercare, and Noon.
​
Craig has extensive experience with hotel technology and channel distribution from his time running e-commerce for IHG in Asia Pacific.
